The greene gooseberry is a fresh sour berry that leaves a decadent contrast to the sweet/sour apple flavour from the winegum. We have chosen to use the green gooseberry that has a sour aromatic summer flavour, instead of the ripe reed berries that are more sweet.
The fresh gooseberries are freezedried and then blended to a fine powder. This technique captures the fresh aromas and complex characteristics of the gooseberries. A true classic that should not be underestimated.
